Legacy Plan Data: Information you choose to store including contacts, accounts, messages, and documents.
Usage Data: Basic analytics to improve the app (not linked to your identity).

Your security is our priority:

Encryption: Private messages are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption. Only you and your intended recipients can access them.
Secure Infrastructure: Data is stored on Google Cloud Platform with enterprise-grade security.
Authentication: We use Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In for secure authentication.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide and maintain the Votum service
Send notifications related to your account and legacy plan
Notify your designated executors and recipients when appropriate
Improve and develop new features

4. Information Sharing

We share your information only in these circumstances:

With Your Executors: When access is granted, executors can view your legacy plan (except private encrypted messages).
With Message Recipients: Recipients can view encrypted messages addressed to them.
Service Providers: We use trusted providers (Google Cloud, Amazon SES for email) to operate our service.
Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the app settings.
